The David Dunlap Observatory is open and actively serving the public. The RASC, Toronto Centre (along with other partners) regularly runs programmes including a speakers series and family nights during the warmer months. All year 'round, we receive booking requests from school, youth, and private groups.

People wishing to visit the DDO as guests, to bring family and friends, are encouraged to book well in advance as these popular nights sell out quickly. Note your preferred RASC event dates below then visit the Richmond Hill web site to purchase tickets.
Members interested in helping are asked to review this calendar to gain a good sense of all the things we do and where we need excellent support from enthusiastic volunteers.

Please wear/bring appropriate supplies for being outdoors. In the warmer months, the mosquitos will be waiting. Use bug repellant and wear white or light colours. Khaki, beige, and olive do not seem attract the insects. Cover up with loose, long sleeved shirts and pants. In the shoulder seasons, spring and fall, wear clothing for several degrees cooler.
Guests: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the program start time in order to be signed in.
Volunteers: Arrive 30 to 45 minutes ahead.
