Join us online to learn basic astronomy that you can do on your own from your backyard! We'll explain the dance of the inner planets in the evening sky, talk about conjunctions, elongations, and transits, and share some tips for safely viewing the inner planets. Galileo did it - so you can, too!

Our monthly City Star Party is the place to catch universe from within the city limits at Bayview Village Park. If you don't have a telescope then you will find many astronomers who would love to share a view.

Join us for an evening of free public stargazing along the north shore of Lake Ontario at Millennium Square. Observe the Moon, stars, and an excellent opportunity to observe Venus through our telescopes!

Join us for an evening of free public stargazing along the north shore of Lake Ontario at Millennium Square. Observe the Moon and stars and brilliant Venus looking like a crescent moon through our telescopes!

City Star Party (GO for Thursday)

Hover above the Moon like an astronaut and get eye-to-eye with the planets. Find colourful stars, star clusters, bright nebulae and even another galaxy. Our monthly City Star Party is the place to catch universe from within the city limits at Bayview Village Park. If you don't have a telescope then you will find many astronomers who would love to share a view. If you are thinking of buying a telescope, viewing with other people's equipment is the best way to make a good choice. If you have a telescope or binoculars, please bring it!

Millennium Square Public Stargazing Series (GO for Friday)

Join us and our sponsor, Durham Skies, for an evening of free public stargazing along the north shore of Lake Ontario at Millennium Square. Observe the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, even Neptune and stars through our telescopes! Check out astronomy literature at our information booth, and ask us questions to learn more about the stars and planets. You can bring your own telescope and we'd be happy to help you set it up and aim it at the Moon.
