RASC National Society: General Assembly 2021 - The Stars Belong to Everyone (ONLINE)
The RASC GA is a four-day event, jam-packed with exciting events and fun for the entire family. This year’s event starts with a youth day that celebrates Astrophotography, encourages youth networking and features a presentation by Research Scientist Aaron Persaud.
The main conference kicks off on the Friday evening with Keynote speaker and television host, Emily Calandrelli. Other GA events include committee presentations, seminars, an award ceremony, live night sky observing and virtual tours of RASC observatories.

Dunlap Institute: Cosmos From Your Couch - SuperBIT Edition (ONLINE)

The fascinating answer lies with a telescope and team with roots at U of T and the Dunlap Institute. In recent years, balloon-borne telescope "SuperBIT" has been making serious scientific strides at relatively low costs, and there's much more to come.
On Thursday, April 9th at 7 pm ET, Astrophysicist and SuperBIT researcher Mohamed Shaaban will explain this telescope's amazing findings, and future potential.
