Port Union Waterfront Park Stargazing - Oct 23rd

Please note that this event is not run by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Toronto Centre. Please contact the organizers for more information.

The Scarborough Sky is excited to collaborate with Scarborough Environmental Association to host a stargazing event at Port Union Waterfront Park! We will mainly be showing Moon and Saturn but galaxies, nebulaes and star clusters may also be shown depending on the weather condition.

We welcome people to bring their own telescopes and binoculars. If you don't have one or cannot bring it for any reason, not to worry, other attendees and us are happy to share a view! The Scarborough Environmental Association will also be lending out binoculars to people. Binoculars are lended on a first come, first serve basis but people are free to share among each other.

A GO/NO-GO decision will be made on the day of the event according to the most recent weather forecast. We will do our best to share the GO/NO-GO decision in as many places as possible. Please check back here or our instagram @thescarboroughsky on the day of the event.

Please dress warmly!
