Title: An Educational Guide to AICO's QUAIL Telescope
Abstract: QUAIL, which stands for QUick Array of Isolating Lenses, is AICO's newest telescope system. It consists of two lenses with narrowband filters, attached to AICO’s 60 cm telescope for tracking, and is used to observe very dim objects like nebulae in Toronto’s very bright sky. To prepare for QUAIL's 'grand opening', I have put together an educational guide on taking photos with QUAIL through the observatory and processing them in Colab. This talk will additionally highlight QUAIL's history and development, its use cases in research, and its apparatus. By the end of this talk you will have the tools necessary to take a photo in colour of your favourite nebula with QUAIL.
