DDO Great North American Eclipse Program!

Safely observe a near-total solar eclipse with us!

During this special RHDDO session, the Astronomers will answer your questions about our closest star: the Sun! Learn how to safely observe the solar eclipse, how the Sun works, and why solar eclipses happen.

Views of the eclipse through small telescopes will be included (weather dependent).

All participants will leave with solar glasses for safe solar observing. A guided tour through the DDO facility is included.

This program is available to Richmond Hill Residents only.

Please wear / bring appropriate supplies for being outside.

All individuals/family members attending this program must be registered and a registered adult must accompany any registered participants under the age of 16.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the program start time in order to be signed in.

This program runs rain or shine.
