David Dunlap Observatory 90th Anniversary Star Party

Free,self-guided tours of the DDO resume 1-5 PM on May 31st, the 90th anniversary of the RHDDO!

Then in the evening, come celebrate this historic observatory's birthday with a star party!

Weather permitting, come join us on the observatory lawn to view the night sky.

Bring your own binoculars or look through outdoor telescopes provided by our observatory volunteers and learn about the program partners here at the DDO and the activities we organize at night!

In the event of poor weather, there will still be stations set up indoors to allow you to meet the program partners, learn about the history of the observatory, and celebrate 90 years of astronomy with us!

No ticket purchase necessary.

1 PM - 5 PM : Tours of the DDO

8:30 PM - 11 PM : Evening Star Party
