2025 Annual Algonquin Adventure stargazing night with Royal Astronomical of Society of Canada
Join members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Toronto Centre) on Aug 28, 29 and 30, beginning at 8:00pm for a night of stargazing, on the Mew Lake beach (near sites 67, 70).
If you have binoculars or a telescope, please feel free to bring them along!
We will have the opportunity to observe astronomical phenomena together including Saturn, galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae.
Please do not use flashlights or headlamps when joining the event as white light rapidly destroys night vision!
Red light flashlights/headlamps are acceptable.
This event is weather dependent and will not take place if there is rain or if the sky is very cloudy.
Who can attend: Everyone
