Seeing the universe with your own eyes is easier than you may think. The RASC, Toronto Centre organizes many star parties, many open to the general public and free:
- Monthly solar observing at the Ontario Science Centre (everyone welcome)
- Monthly city observing at Bayview Village Park (everyone welcome)
- Monthly dark sky observing at Long Sault Conservation Area (everyone welcome, mostly members attend)
- Special events at the Ontario Science Centre, for example Earth Hour (everyone welcome)
- Programs at the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill (some are open to anyone, some are for members only)
- Most weekends from Spring through Fall at the E.C. Carr Observatory near Blue Mountain (for members except open house days) *NOTE: CAO is restricted use for Members and closed to the public for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
