DDO Members' Night
Two great presentations tonight. Steve McKinney will show us how to take star trails (like in his image above) and time lapses. And Mike Crabtree will show us how to use software to stack and process planetary images, like his image of Jupiter used in the slide show announcement for tonight's event.
One of the benefits of membership in the RASC Toronto Centre is access to specially arranged Members' Nights at the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill. This event will be held whether skies are clear or cloudy. Each event has a pre-announced theme. (Tonight's theme will be announced soon.)
We gather for pizza, participate in a seminar on the theme for the evening, and do some observing and imaging if weather permits.
