Speaker's Night: The Current State of Water on Mars

Mars was once a much warmer and wetter world, more similar to Earth than the cold polar desert we see today. But water still persists in various forms on Mars! Dr. Tanya Harrison, a "Professional Martian," will discuss how scientists keep discovering water on Mars, and what implications it might have for life.

Dr. Tanya Harrison is a planetary scientist, future-focused science strategist, author, and one of the world’s go-to voices on Mars and space exploration. She is currently a Fellow of the Outer Space Institute and the Director of Earth and Space Science at Mission Control in Ottawa, Canada.
