What is MeMstar?

MeMstar consists of a housing (less than 100g) that attaches to the bottom of a telescope tube, or any part attached to the tube. It is compatible with all tube types and telescope sizes for alt-azimuth (Dobsonian) mounts.

It is a Push-To technology that works with a smartphone app (Android and iPhone) that connects to the device via Bluetooth. The app is self-contained and doesn't require an internet connection. Everything is designed to work in the most remote locations! 

General steps for use

1. Download the app from the applicable app store and load the app on your phone or tablet.
2. Turn on the MeMstar device
3. Connect to MeMstar using Bluetooth
4. If the telescope or MeMstar location has been changed:
   1. Perform a four-star alignment
5. If the telescope and MeMstar has not been changed
   1. Select "Use last alignment"
   2. Perform a one-star alignment
6. Select an object and point your telescope to the target.
7. If needed, realign your telescope occasionally for best performance.
