iREx/MSI: An Evening with Webb: Canadian Astronomers Using the Next Great Space Telescope (ONLINE)
The James Webb Space Telescope, launching this year, is set to change the world of astronomy. An international collaboration between NASA, the Canadian Space Agency and the European Agency, it will allow astronomers to discover alien worlds, study distant galaxies and change our view of the Universe.
During this virtual panel, you'll learn more about this incredible mission, Canada's contribution and the incredible discoveries we hope to make in the coming years. You will also meet three astronomers who will be some of the first to use the telescope for their research. Tune in and ask them your questions about Webb and their projects!
