Canadian Space Agency astronaut, Dr. Robert Thirsk
Robert Thirsk has flown in space two times, first on the Space Shuttle in 1996 and again in 2009 on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft. He holds the record for the longest time in space by a Canadian astronaut at 204 days – the large majority of that time being on the International Space Station, where he circled the Earth 16 times per day.
