RASC GA: Hands-on Astronomy Activities for Father’s Day

Learn all about being an amateur astronomer and join in on hands-on activities at this special weekend Father’s Day Family Astronomy activity fair.

Activities will include:
• Solar observing: look at the sun safely through a telescope
• Planetarium: enjoy a glimpse at our night sky without staying up late
• Comet-making: What are comets made of? Watch as we make one right in front of your eyes
• 3D Constellations: Constellations only look the way they do because of where we are. What might constellations look like from somewhere else?
• Craters: Get messy and make some moon craters!
• Astronomy and Father’s Day arts and crafts

Join us for a weekend of spacey fun!
