Clarington Public Library: Winter WonderLearn
The RASC - Toronto Centre will be an active participant at the annual Winter WonderLearn held in Courtice. Indoors, we will talk astronomy to visiting families, show young astronomers how to use planispheres, distribute literature and, weather permitting, show the sun with our solar scopes outside.

About the Festival
Now in its fifthteenth consecutive year, Winter WonderLearn is a day of free family fun! Children and their families can enjoy Family Day together at an event that celebrates Clarington and the family learning opportunities that thrive here. Shake off the winter blahs at this interactive learning festival. Local organizations offer demonstrations and workshops in literacy, arts, sports, history, science, nature, safety, and health.
Throughout the event, families can explore interactive activities, make a craft or two, and have fun together. The festival allows people to learn about the local organizations that make up our community, learn something new, and spend time together as a family!
