Video: Flight into Totality - 1979 Total Solar Eclipse Expedition

On February 26, 1979, the Toronto Centre mounted one of its biggest expeditions to see the total eclipse of the sun at Gimli, Manitoba. Now, forty years later, Michael Watson, one of the main organisers, takes us back to that day with the help of Randy Attwood's re-mastering of the slide show, "Flight into Totality". The presentation took place at the Ontario Science Centre on February 13, 2019.
