Video: Atacama A's

Toronto Centre member Charline Norgrove gave a talk on her recent trip to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile to visit the Llano de Chajnantor Observatory. Eight observatories within a twenty square-kilometer area in the Andes, all of which are above 4,800 metres, form the Llano de Chajnantor Observatory. Charline showed pictures of these observatories and images of the great Southern Sky. Charline spoke at the Recreational Astronomy Night meeting of May 23, 2018 at the Ontario Science Centre.
