Video: Swinging to Stability

After watching Dr. Rainer Weiss' lecture on Nov 28, 2018 at the Ontario Science Centre, Artash and Arushi Nath wanted to test the theory behind the quadruple pendulum system that was used in the LIGO Observatory to isolate vibrations and help detect Gravitational Waves. Artash and Arushi gave this demonstration at the Recreational Astronomy Night meeting of the RASC, Toronto Centre, which was held at the Ontario Science Centre on May 22, 2019.
