Speaker's Night: The Search for Water in the Solar System
Jake Kloos, PhD Candidate, Earth and Space Science and Engineering, York University
Water, as a fundamental molecule to life, has been a key driver in our exploration of the solar system. Although our search has only begun, water has been found to be ubiquitous on planetary bodies, and exists in even the most unexpected places. This talk will take a tour of the solar system, presenting our current understanding the presence of water and its implications.
Talk starts at 7:30pm, socializing starts at 7:00pm.
