SEDS-Canada and SGAC Webinar Series: Canada’s Future in Space (ONLINE)

Space has proven to be a source of inspiration across generations, which is evident from historical hallmarks such as the Apollo program. It continues to be an important catalyst to major technological breakthroughs and spinoff technologies that improve the quality of life of the general public. The theme of the webinar, in particular, addresses the official Space Strategy for Canada released in 2019. As access to space has come into reach of a broader public, including students, this webinar will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the official space strategy the country has set for itself from the perspectives of industry experts. In line with SEDS-Canada and SGAC missions to engage Canadian youth, students and young professionals will learn about ways to engage in various aspects of work/research in space across Canada in the near and far future.
