Speaker: Chris Vaughan

Chris Vaughan is an award-winning Astronomer and Earth Scientist with a lifelong passion for visual astronomy. He operates the David Dunlap Observatory’s 1.88m telescope, volunteers for the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, hosts The Insider’s Guide to the Galaxy show on YouTube, and visits schools and groups with his portable Digital Starlab planetarium. His weekly Astronomy Skylights blog at www.AstroGeo.ca is enjoyed by readers worldwide, and he is a regular contributor to SkyNews magazine, Space.com, and several popular astronomy apps.
