Public Stargazing in Courtice (GO for Tuesday)

Learn the late-winter/early-spring constellations and enjoy stargazing behind the Courtice Community Complex.

From 6:00 to 6:30, we will be indoors to distribute Star-Finders and show you how to use them to find constellations that are currently in the night sky.

Then, from 6:30 to 7:30 (and possibly longer) we will be outside behind the library finding those same constellations in the sky, and looking through telescopes at Jupiter, Venus, and star clusters!

This special constellation-and-stargazing opportunity is made possible with the help of the Clarington Public Library.

RASC members interested in participating: please contact Arnold Brody. Thank you!

People of all ages interested in learning constellations and observing: See you there!

Who can attend: Everyone

Admission Fee: Free

Organized by: RASC Toronto Centre , Clarington Public Library

Location: Courtice Community Complex, 2950 Courtice Rd, Courtice, ON L1E 2H8

NOTE: If bad weather prevents stargazing, the event may be postponed to Wednesday March 8 or Thursday, March 9. Check rascto.ca or the Clarington Public Library's events page for Go/No-Go decision based on the weather.
