Exploring Our Own Backyard: A Voyage Through the Solar System

YellowknifeBayCurrosityWe live in an age of exciting discoveries about planets orbiting distant stars, but we should not forget the planets that we can see moving through our own sky. We are still making discoveries about the planets next door, like evidence for past fresh water lakes on Mars, a magnetic field around Mercury and a hexagonal storm at the north pole of Saturn. Come along for a journey through the solar system and see how our understanding of planets has evolved and look ahead to future discoveries.
