November Recreational Astronomy Night

Join us for our monthly recreational astronomy night meeting at the Ontario Science Centre. This is where our members get to show their latest projects, or give tutorials and tips on just about everything to do with Astronomy. Talks start at 7:30 socializing starts at 7:00.

Program:

  • Francois van Heerden - The sky this month
  • Guy Nason - New accessible dark sky preserve in Southern Ontario
  • Paul Mortfield - David Dunlap Observatory update and recent CCD images
  • Jim Chung - How to throw a proper eyepiece shootout

Who can attend: everyone including non-members
Fee: free, free parking after 6pm
Reservation not needed
