DDO Members' Night - How to Find Dark Skies; How to Find Clear Skies

Tonight we focus on using online resources to select appropriate sites for specific observations and to increase our understanding of online weather resources.

One of the benefits of membership in the RASC Toronto Centre is access to specially arranged Members' Nights at the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill. This event will be held whether skies are clear or cloudy. Each event has a pre-announced theme. This evening is about How to Find Dark Skies; How to Find Clear Skies.

We gather for pizza, participate in a seminar on the theme for the evening, and do some observing and imaging if weather permits.

• 5:30 PM Gates open
• 6:00 PM Pizza cutoff ($6 buys you pizza and pop)
• 6:45 PM Pizza arrives or join us with your own food
• 7:30 PM Seminar begins (about 45 minutes)
• 8:30 PM Observing/imaging begins, weather dependent
• 10:00 PM We're Done
