DDO Members' Night

Should you use a paper atlas and star charts? Perhaps planetarium software would be better? Why not use an app on your smart phone? Join us tonight for tips on finding your targets in the night sky.

One of the benefits of membership in the RASC Toronto Centre is access to specially arranged Members' Nights at the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill. This event will be held whether skies are clear or cloudy. Each event has a pre-announced theme. This evening is about How to Find What You’re Looking For.

We gather for pizza, participate in a seminar on the theme for the evening, and do some observing and imaging if weather permits.

• 5:30 PM Gates open
• 6:00 PM Pizza cutoff ($6 buys you pizza and pop)
• 6:45 PM Pizza arrives or join us with your own food
• 7:30 PM Seminar begins (about 45 minutes)
• 8:30 PM Observing/imaging begins, weather dependent
• 10:00 PM We're Done
