DDO Astronomy Speakers Night: Mars: The Next Chapter with Paul A. Delaney (ONLINE)

With the successful arrival of 3 spacecraft explorers in February 2021, including NASA’s Perseverance Rover, it is timely to take stock of our Mars exploration program. The planet has been the focus of 50 years of intense spacecraft scrutiny all focused upon the determination of the past environment on Mars and whether life did (or does) exist there. This talk will visually summarize the Red planet and our efforts to ascertain whether life evolved on another world apart from Earth.
