Solar System Social is a space-themed speaker series that brings exciting ideas and research from the field of planetary science to the general public in form of short, informative, and interesting talks that last about 15 minutes each. This event focuses on asteroids and meteorites. Dylan Hickson will deliver a talk titled, “Using radar to probe the inner solar system", Sara Mazrouei, will share "Detangling the history of the Solar System, one asteroid at a time", and finally, Tanya Kizovski, will share “A Message from Mars – Martian Meteorite Studies.” Following each talk, audience members will have the chance to ask questions, with speakers encouraged to frame their answers toward fostering public understanding of and engagement with space science and exploration.
