Recreational Astronomy Night

Join us for our monthly recreational astronomy night meeting. This is where our members get to show their latest projects, or give tutorials and tips on just about everything to do with Astronomy. Talks start at 7:30 socializing starts at 7:00.

  • Chris Vaughan - The sky this month
  • Jim Chung - A roadmap to imaging planets with really big scopes
  • Patrick McDonald - Nova Sagittarii #2, something new in the Archer
  • Vikas Nath - Z-bot: a home-made tool for learning about age, temperature, and composition of stars

Who can attend: everyone including non-members
