Pape/Danforth Library: A Trip to the Edge of the Universe

Dr. John Percy will take you on an illustrated, guided tour of the universe, starting at Earth, passing by the sun, planets and moons of our solar system, then traveling far into our galaxy, witnessing star birth and star death, and passing such strange things as supernovas and black holes. Then we will travel even further, past billions of other galaxies, to the edge of the universe, and the beginning of time. Finally, we will ask: is there other intelligent life out there? Lots of time for questions and discussion!
