Biography Marc Teitelbaum

Marc worked for many years as a classroom teacher and education coordinator for school boards in Toronto and New York City. He was an active member and coordinator on various educational committees, concerning budget, financial, and curriculum. 

Marc has been a member of the RASC Toronto Centre since 2007. After retirement, he participated fully in a variety of Centre activities. He was a regular RASC TC outreach volunteer at the DDO, did many astronomy presentations for public outreach and is one of the Supervisors for Dark Sky parties. Marc remains one of the coordinators of the Telescope Loans Program. He successfully coordinated the search for new meeting locations for the 2015-2016 season of RASC Toronto Centre meetings. Marc has served as a Science Fair judge representing the RASC.

Marc is a member of the New Horizons Concert Band in York Region. He especially enjoys attending RASC meetings and listening to members and guest lecturers alike. He enjoys observing, learning about astrophotography, and creating presentations for public outreach.
